Tasting Safari!
We are pulling together our team of Safari Guides for our Raw Food Tasting Safari in October at the WI Expo Center State Fair Park. We are hoping to serve 1,500 - 2,000 children (and adults) over the two days! Each will receive their Passport to Health, where they will record what living foods they enjoyed best.
I know many of you have shown interest in helping us. We need 70 people to help us that day between the Tasting Safari and helping at our raw food booths i.e. Blend tec, distillers, dehydrators, Spiralizers, oils, etc.
Before I open this up to area volunteers, I wanted to see if any of you wanted to help! You can volunteer or work for pay, just let us know. Vibrant Life Vibrant Child is a nonprofit, and we want to help others find great health through foods! You raw foodies are amazing, and know by living the raw food way how healthy and vibrant you can feel eating living foods as the primary intake of calories.
The show runs Friday October 22 3 pm - 8 pm and Saturday October 23 9 am - 4 pm.
We need Safari Guides: leading the tasting safaris
We need tasting Samplers - Giving out Samples at each station
We need tasting safari registration help
We need tasting safari hat making people! Helping the kids create their hats!
Then help with these booths:
Blend tec ' making green smoothies and fruit smoothies ( 2 booths)
Spiralizer - play with the spiralizer to make noodles from everything
Dehydrator - discuss and help people learn dehydrator techniques
Distiller - teach people about the healing capacities of water
Raw food demos: raw food demos!

There will be a VOLUNTEER DAY October 9th. We will have a Tasting Safari that day to show you how it works with a meeting to follow. The Tasting Safari will run 1-3 PM and the meeting will last 30-60 minutes. All Volunteers can go through the safari for free, and we will open this up to those of you receiving this email as well (Limit 60 more participants than the volunteers) for $5.00 a person. We will have our NEW stations done by then! COOL!

A TRUE Story
A customer took her daughter to our local hospital this month. Upon entering the examining room, a doctor noted it was chilly and offered a blanket. The second doctor that came in asked if she wanted a blanket, for it seemed a bit chilly. The THIRD doctor came in and commented on the air being a bit chilly, and offered another blanket.
Finally, a nurse came in and offered to turn up the heat!
Some people treat the symptoms, and others treat the cause.
We use FOOD to treat the cause…….pharmaceuticals ONLY treat symptoms.

Class Schedule, Lillyism on Heaven, HONEYDEWS!
Class Schedule DONE!

We are opening our classes to everyone in the surrounding areas, so if we get really big – we will make a mock kitchen up in our church! Now wouldn’t that be fun?! Living FOODS!
With all the gardens starting to peak we thought we would plug LIVING FOODS! Anyone who walks into our store cannot leave without knowing our passion for raw living foods. We hope all people can incorporate raw living foods as 75% of their diet. We really don’t care what you do with the other 25% of your diet (although your body may…) but the vitality and energy that starts to rebuild in a system that is full of life is INCREDIBLE! If you haven’t taken our raw food challenge – start today! You would NOT believe the amount of comments we receive about the changes in people’s lives when “going raw”. The other morning I was cutting fruit for breakfast when Lilly (6) asked me “Mom, what do people eat in Heaven?” As I looked at her sweet face my mind was formulating a quick response when she interrupted my thoughts and blurted out “I Know! They are dead so they eat dead food! They eat bread and hot dogs in heaven!” – out of the mouths of babes…..raw food babes!

Our cooler is FULL and bursting with great produce! Local and area organic farmers have filled us up! From sweet corn to cherries, we have a bunch! We are ordering dozens of honeydew melons to give away with every $50.00 purchase. Come enjoy the weekend – the fresh way!

Sewing Apprentice
This morning I came downstairs after waking up and found Rose (8) sewing. She learned how to hand sew yesterday and was looking for ANYTHING in the home she could sew! I found a few things in my sewing closet, and she spent the entire morning working on them. Sitting on top of our pool table in her Star Wars costume, she sat sewing. This was inspiring to Julia so she took out the old Girl Scout uniforms that had patches not sewn on yet and began to sew them on. Sewing and ironing all over our home today! Family life….it’s great!
