hospitals, government buildings and homes around the country.
The response to the Living with Energy class continues to be
great, but I wanted to offer more! There is only so much I can
cover in two hours (even with how FAST I talk).
This new class, Cancer: Friend or Foe? From Table to Cell –
How Food and Emotions Create Life!, is a bit more technical and
digs into the chemistry and biology of your amazing body. There
will be a third class coming at the beginning of next year
titled: Feeding our Children: Licking ADD, ADHD and Allergies
Starts Before Birth – how to Recover and Refuel!
If any of you receiving these emails are interested in offering
one of the classes to your staff, school, patients or clients,
please contact me. If you just want to have friends come over to
your home for an entertaining class, call! Private parties are
so much fun!
THANK YOU for all the support and trust you put into Jen, I and
our businesses. Saturday I saw so many wonderful faces, and
spoke to countless people via phone or in the store that want to
heal themselves naturally. Some drove hours to get to our place.
Many of you gave hugs, words of thanks, and expressions of love
that will stay with me and keep me ignited. It is my hope, that
as the wellness center continues to grow and develop, and with
our current interns, I will be able to finally finish my books.

Over 700 NATIVITIES ON DISPLAY!
Join our family in welcoming the Christmas Season with this
beautiful display of Nativities! This is the seventh year for
this event that has drawn thousands of people. Come visit each
room on the tour and view nativities from around the globe.
Children LOVE the search sheet – looking for clues in each of
the rooms’ amongst the nativities. In the cultural hall the
Streets of Bethlehem come to life with tents of nativities in a
beautiful display, and the streets end at the gentle stable where
live actors portray Christ’s birth. Come, all are welcome!
Refreshments, Wheel Chair accessible, Live Music and FREE!
Roger and I will be there in costume, and will enjoy seeing you
all!

RECIPES!
Karen’s FAVORITE Sugar & Fruit FREE Green Drink!
1-2 leaf kale
1 avacado
1-2 leaf collard greens
Handful spinach
2 stalks celery
2-3 TB raw tahini
2-4 TB nutritional yeast
1 teas nutmeg
¼ - ½ teas tumeric
Water to consistency!
Guilt Free Lettuce Wraps
INGREDIENTS:
2 ripe avocados
3 tomatoes, diced
1/2 red pepper, diced
2 tbsp red onion, diced
2-3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
corn kernels
2 tsp fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon Nature’s Garden Pizzaz seasoning
6-8 large romaine lettuce leaves
PREPARATION:
In a medium sized bowl, mash the avocado and add garlic, onions,
spices and red pepper.
Spread 2-3 tablespoons of this mixture onto lettuce leaves,
sprinkle with corn and wrap. Enjoy!
Apple Raisin Cookies
2 C sunflower seeds, soaked 4 hours and rinsed.
2 fuji apples, grated
2 large bananas
1/2 C dates
1 C raisins
1 t cinnamon
1 T flax oil
1 C walnuts, soaked 2 hours, chopped.
Optional: Add other nuts, seeds or dried fruit!
Process sunflower seeds and bananas in food processor. Mix all
ingredients together in a large bowl. Spoon dough on a dehydrator
tray with a teflex sheet and form into small round cookie. Place
cookies close together on the sheets. Dehydrate at 105 degrees
for 4 hours, turn cookies over and remove teflex sheet. Continue
dehydrating until desired moisture is obtained, approximately 3-5
hours.
Cinnamon Walnut Caramel Turtles
2 cup nut combination (walnut, pecans, brazil nuts, peanuts)
1 cup honey
1/2 cup cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
In a large bowl, mix honey, cinnamon and vanilla into paste. Stir
in nuts until thoroughly coated. Add dried fruits if you like!
Coconut is always yummy. Form into small clusters and dehydrate
at least 24 hours.
Allow mixture to sit until flavors have blended, approximately
one hour. For added zest add the juice of one lemon and one lime.
Easy Veggie Dip
2-3 celery stalks
2 carrots
1/2 cup tahini (raw organic)
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
handful of parsley
1-2 teaspoons Nature’s Garden Pizzaz Seasoning
Put all ingredients through a food processor! Enjoy with any
veggies!
RAW Raisin Fudge
(This is not my recipe – but can’t remember where we got it!)
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup walnuts
1 1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup raw cacao powder
dash of cinnamon
pinch of sea salt
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until
smooth and balled up. Remove from bowl and press into square or
round glass dish – alternatively you can shape into one large
square with your hands. Freeze until firm, then slice. This may
be kept refrigerated or frozen. This rich and satisfying recipe
serves 6-8.

I commented to Roger early this morning that perhaps we are
experiencing what the small hardware stores experienced when
Menards and Home Depot opened up in their neighborhoods. Some
survived, others did not.
Those stores who survived did so because they offered something
the big box stores couldn’t. We believe Nature’s Garden

GREAT NEWS! Exciting LETTER!
Dear Customers--Our Friends,
It is with a lot excitement that I write to you today. Please, take the few minutes it may take to read this letter – it is FULL of exciting news!
It has been a whirlwind the last few months in the health center, in addition to our health training in Georgia.
Both Jen and I did well on our exams, and now have certifications in operating the CEDSA unit. To achieve this, we needed to know and understand the many intricate systems of the body, the glands, organs, and how they all work together making the greatest machine on earth – the human body.
It never ceases to amaze me, how utterly complex the body is, and yet how simple! Taking a bird’s eye view always brings me back to how easy and natural it is for our body to function – and how it relies on each bite we take to nourish it.
This weekend our open house has free classes all day Friday and Saturday, sales, tours, and equipment demonstrations. We are very excited to share with you some of what we have learned.
In addition…..Next Wednesday, Jen and I are both headed back to Atlanta, Georgia. We are attending “The Science of Complimentary Medicine”, the National Convention of the Association of Natural Health. Doctors, practitioners and leading experts such as John Easterling from Amazon Herb Company, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, and Dr. James Hawver and other experts will be speaking.
The phone rang minutes ago and the CEO of the association and his staff were on the conference call. They said the MC of the event had called to back down a few days ago due to family circumstances out of their control.
The board met to discuss the possibilities of who they could ask, and had decided to ask me to MC the entire conference!
I am SO HONORED! Now, not only can we bring back to you what we will be learning from the conference, but inside knowledge from the experts and doctors! It is with a lot excitement that I write to you today. Please, take the few minutes it may take to read this letter – it is FULL of exciting news!
It has been a whirlwind the last few months in the health center, in addition to our health training in Georgia.
Both Jen and I did well on our exams, and now have certifications in operating the CEDSA unit. To achieve this, we needed to know and understand the many intricate systems of the body, the glands, organs, and how they all work together making the greatest machine on earth – the human body.
It never ceases to amaze me, how utterly complex the body is, and yet how simple! Taking a bird’s eye view always brings me back to how easy and natural it is for our body to function – and how it relies on each bite we take to nourish it.
This weekend our open house has free classes all day Friday and Saturday, sales, tours, and equipment demonstrations. We are very excited to share with you some of what we have learned.
In addition…..Next Wednesday, Jen and I are both headed back to Atlanta, Georgia. We are attending “The Science of Complimentary Medicine”, the National Convention of the Association of Natural Health. Doctors, practitioners and leading experts such as John Easterling from Amazon Herb Company, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, and Dr. James Hawver and other experts will be speaking.
The phone rang minutes ago and the CEO of the association and his staff were on the conference call. They said the MC of the event had called to back down a few days ago due to family circumstances out of their control.
The board met to discuss the possibilities of who they could ask, and had decided to ask me to MC the entire conference!
I am SO HONORED! Now, not only can we bring back to you what we will be learning from the conference, but inside knowledge from the experts and doctors!
