Café Open!

The cafe is open Friday and Saturday for lunch 11 am - 2 pm and Saturday for dinner 5-8 pm! Our salmon patties and raw sandwiches are now on the menu. Soups this week are: Creamy Tomato and Coconut Veggie (AWESOME, made this recipe to taste like the sauce we served on Saturday, just for fun!!), and split pea.

Distillers and Veggie Slicers

If anyone wants their name on a distiller or spiralizer when they come in let us know! The distillers and prices can be found on our Shop Shop Shop page at www.naturesgardenspot.com !

Our spiralizer is GREAT and can be used to make noodles out of almost any vegetable. We use ours and LOVE the zucchini noodles for everything! Use for sweet potatoes, curly fries, or create garlands of vegetables and make a BEAUTIFUL salad! YUM! These slicers will be on sale for $35.00. This is the LOWEST price the manufacture wants these sold at. (I found one a few dollars less and asked the manufacturer and they already contacted the on line company to have them change their price!) This gadget is a must in anyone’s kitchen. Check it out on our shop shop shop page!

What NOT to put in the green drink…..

So our daughter Emily tells me that she has been asking many of you what additions you put into your drink. This morning, she decided to play in the kitchen! Following are the ingredients. (I did suggest she not put them all in at one time....did she listen? Na......she's 18!): Almond butter, cacao powder, fresh ginger, kale, bananas, raspberries, blueberries, cabbage, chard, celery and red pepper! When she tasted it she about gagged and asked what I recommended. I said nothing that perhaps adding one exciting thing at a time would have sufficed! She returned to me a few minutes later and said "I made it better!" I just stared at this awful looking concoction...she continued “I added cayenne and now I can't taste anything!"
