WHAT DO WE DO EACH DAY?

People often ask members of our family what supplements we use. I thought I would share with you what we do each day!

AFTER our quart of lemon water the members of our family 14 years on up take B12 each day (1-3 tablets), Bee Pollen (1-4 teaspoons), an oil of some sorts (Coconut oil, flax seed oil, fish oil) and Vitamin D3 (Many of us LOVE the Vitamin D3 vitality bed!) If we have not eaten a lot of sauerkraut (which we do) we will enjoy a synergy or take probiotics.

Our younger children have enjoyed the following for years: A B12 tablet that we smoosh in a spoon, vitamin D3 drops or tablet smooshed, Barleans Kids DHA oil ( FANTASTIC for the BRAIN!), and then a half to full teaspoon of a flavored plant oil from Barleans ( Mango Peach, Strawberry, etc.) They also have a dropper or two of Kid e Mins and a dropperful of our NEW Calcium for kids, and a few times a week a dropper or two of Kid e Mune. If for some weird reason they get “backed up” and have not had a bowel movement that day, they get Kid e Reg two times that day!

I tell you, as a mother there is no better feeling than knowing the children are well protected, and have strong immune systems! Oh, if they do get a sniffle? Then Kid e Well and oil of Oregano!

We do use other herbs if we feel we need to. I myself am using oil or Garlic and our Ear and Nerve formula, two drops of each, in my ears at night as I have had ringing in my ears since the beginning of training on the CEDSA. Too much to do! Now I wait the wondrous self healing that herbs bring, as we have witnessed countless times in the past.

We then head over to the blender for our green drink!

Jen and Heather are both enjoying their CEDSA detoxing and health program and feel GREAT! Heather just this morning (Heather is our intern and she lives with us for the next many months), said “I really feel a difference, I feel what is going on in my body, more in tune, and I have more energy. I feel like everything is in harmony.”

Ok, Jen wants to add because SHE is excited too “I had lower back pains when waking up in the morning, and after taking the support for the endocrine system (the adrenals) it feels great! My upper neck and shoulders and my Jaw had aches and pains. I had his for so many years and it is going away. I think everything is now working synergistically, and life is wonderful!”

Thanks for asking!

RAW COOKIE Recipes from somewhere! I made a few changes along the way…Enjoy!

Raw Chewy Shortbreads!
This is a chewy yummy shortbread.
Ingredients
• ½ cup cashews (I like Brazil nuts too…)
• ¼ cup coconut flakes, (grind into a powder in the blender first)
• ¼ cup sesame seeds or hemp seeds, (grind into a powder in the blender first)
• ¼ cup flax, (grind into a powder in the blender first)
• 2 Tbsp. agave nectar
• 2 soft pitted dates
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• ½ -1 tsp. almond extract
• dash of sea salt
Directions
In a food processor, grind cashews, coconut, sesame and flax until it reaches a flour-like consistency. Add agave, dates, vanilla and sea salt, and process into a ball of dough.
Flatten the dough as though you were making traditional cut-out cookies. Cut the dough into whatever shape you want.
Dehydrate for at least 24 hours to make them nearly crisp, but still a little chewy (I always preferred the Chewy Chips Ahoy over the original).

Raw Thin Mints
Ingredients for the wafers:
• 1 cup almond meal or cashews or Brazil Nuts (grind cashews into a powder in the blender first)
• 1/4 cup coconut flakes, ground into a powder(grind into a powder in the blender first)
• 1/4 cup cocoa powder
• 2 Tbsp. agave nectar (or sweetener of choice)
• 2-3 soft pitted dates
• 1 tsp. peppermint extract
• dash of sea salt
• optional: add 1/8 cup flax seed meal ground fine

For the chocolate coating:
• 2 T cocoa powder
• 2 T raw agave syrup (or other sweetener of choice)
• 1/2 t coconut butter or coconut oil or other nut oil .... OR 1/2 t filtered water

Directions
In a food processor, combine almond meal, ground coconut and cocoa powder. Add the agave, dates, extract and sea salt, and process to create a ball of dough.

Flatten the dough into a sheet, and cut out cookie-sized circles. Put the cookies in your dehydrator, for 12 -24 hours flipping once, until crisp.

Now make the chocolate coating:

Mix the agave syrup and the oil or water together.

Slowly whisk the raw cacao powder into the agave syrup mixture, mixing it in until well-blended into a smooth sauce. The amount suggested here is a rough guideline. How much cacao powder you will ultimately use depends on the consistency you want.

Once the cookies are done, dip the them in the raw chocolate and allow to set in the freezer.
