Parade+Participants+Presents, and Paprika RECIPES!

4TH OF JULY PARADE!~ Nature's Garden float will be in West Bend & Hartford

We are looking for participants (YOU) to walk along side of our beautiful float handing out fruit and postcards or just waving & walking.  If you choose to wear or hold a sign that we will provide that says "I eat organic", "My body HEALS!", or something that "I have healed from _____"
(asthma, allergies, migraines, diabetes...) ALL AGES WELCOME!!

July 4th West Bend~ We will meet at 8:45 at the Badger Middle School in West Bend.
July 4th Hartford~ We will meet at 1:30 in Hartford – line up at High Street.

As a THANK YOU PRESENT, every person over 17 years will receive a $15 Gift Certificate that is valid for ANYTHING, yes anything (classes, produce, Wellness Center sessions...)
For ages 17 and under, redeem a certificate for a FREE organic ice cream bar!!

We will provide a lunch buffet at Nature’s Garden if you can attend both parades on the fourth of July!

NEW SECRET SPICE INGREDIENT in the store~ Spanish Smoked Paprika

It's beautifully bright red AND Delicious Smoked Paprika (pimenton), made in Spain from smoked, cultivated with no chemicals ground pimento peppers.
Smoked Spanish paprika is nothing like the relatively bland traditional Hungarian paprika you get at the local supermarket. This paprika has a deep smoky flavor!!It enhances so many dishes
by giving them a rich, smoky hard to define taste. Once you try it, you’ll never use regular paprika again.

USES: sprinkle it on grilled cheese sandwiches and deviled eggs, to impart a smoky flavor to chili, tofu, salad dressing, bean casseroles, hummus and all sorts of cooked meats and vegetables.
Try rubbing a chicken with olive oil , sea salt and smoked paprika before roasting it - fabulous! Sprinkle it over buttered noodles or popcorn, corn on the cob, and baked potatoes.

Smoky Veggie Bacon RECIPE

Spanish Rice RECIPE
1 head cauliflower, grated in a food processor
4 green onions, diced
2 tomatoes, diced
1 orange bell pepper, diced
1 Jalapeno pepper, diced
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup cilantro, diced
1 avocado (mashed in)
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
1/4 cup cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
Mix together and serve!

Smoked Paprika Almonds RECIPE
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic
3 cups raw almonds
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon celtic sea salt
¼ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne
1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat (I used
my cast iron skillet, though any skillet will work)
2. Add garlic to the skillet and saute for 3-5 minutes, until the
garlic is almost brown
3. Add the smoked paprika, salt, chili and cayenne and stir to
make a paste
4. Add the almonds and stir constantly until they are thoroughly
coated
5. Continue toasting the almonds in the skillet until they are
fragrant, about 5 minutes
6. Remove from heat and allow the nuts to cool in the pan
7. Serve
