Chef Darin is coming again to teach our cook class Tuesday September 1st! He is one of the lead chefs at Hotel Intercontinental in Milwaukee and is Absolutely TERRIFIC~! We all enjoyed his French cooking class, and this month he teaches us many yummy ways to use corn! Call and let us know if you can come! I can't wait to sit in the back row and enjoy!

We have put together new products on our new yummy end caps (well don't eat the end caps) full of organic stuffables (I don't think that is a word) for the lunch boxes! We have also created two new bars that are kid friendly priced! We changed a few things so the cost point is lower, but the integrity is not! All organic ingredients - Peanut Butter Chocolate and the Original Re-mix! (that most likely will not be the name...but haven't thought of one yet....) These new bars are only $1.45 each or 5 for 5.99! These are bars that will be sold in vending machines within a month, so watch for them. Heck, perhaps the hospital will actually sell something decent for you in the vending machines!!!!!!! UGHHHHHHHHHHH. Woa, sorry about that.....

Taste of Home is coming on October 1st to the Washington County Fair and guess what! We will have a 20 foot booth with Raw Food demonstrations every half an hour! We will have many samples of our new line of products as well as deals on BlendTec and other appliances. We will also be one of the feature vendors catering the event! 1,000 people coming, and I hope they come HUNGRY! Thought we would offer: Mama Mia!, Tribeca Turkey, our all new Raw ZuZu Sandwich ( on our homemade dehydrated nut and vegetable bread...start drooling now.....) as well as a few of our smoothies and a raspberry salad. Can't wait! We may need help that night, so let me know if you are interested.

REMEMBER the Class on September 8th: Making your own cleaning products! Using essential oils and other odds and ends you may have laying around the home. Please mail or call in to let us know you are coming. Pat will be leading this class.

Enjoy the BEAUTIFUL day! Another outdoor wedding just finished and it was PERFECT weather! Did you know.......we have been doping wedding here for nine years, and we have only needed to move an outdoor wedding inside a couple times? I just believe we have a bubble here, as sometimes it will be pouring as close as Allenton and we never see a drop....until the wedding is done. Personally, I think it is all those people in our back yard holding up umbrellas in heaven. I will stay on their good side!

Well you just missed her! Eva just left after dropping off the YUMMIEST looking produce! If we don't eat it all, here is what may be left: 6 varieties of perfect tomatoes, mixed cheery tomato baskets, many pounds of divine peppers, including perfect jalapeño, eggplant (we will need more, this is great stuff!) English cucumbers and garden cucumbers, kale, 3 varieties of perfect squash (Mike and Michelle had family over for dinner and they did the ol' lightly roast the squash on the grill with seasonings.....YUMMY! it was just barely soft and PERFECT!) and along with the other fantastic produce we have - both local and from the south, it makes me wonder one thing..............

WHY ARE YOU SITTING AT THE COMPUTER! Come on down and grab some while it's hot! (it is! Still hot from the sun and just out of the garden!!!)

Soup to go! We created a seven beans and barley vegetable soup ready to take home! Just add to 5 cups of water, and simmer for a couple hours to have a NUTRITIONAL great tasting soup! Personally, I add a lot of toppings when I can to my already cooked soups such as: Avocado, fresh tomatoes, fresh green onions, Fresh Zucchini and every great while a little raw cheddar cheese! Heck, this sounds so good I will make some soup for Dinner! Come join me!

Gardens Galore! Yes, every garden is abundant with sun packed nutrients, and now you need to figure what to do with all of those vegetables! Visit our recipe pages on our literature page for some YUMMY zucchini dishes, and here are a few things we do that just take minutes!

Vegetable roll ups:
Sauté lightly any vegetable you have
Roll in a sprouted wrap, and add raw cheese if desired.
Lightly sauté entire roll in olive oil only a few minutes and ENJOY!!!!

Veggie Sandwich:
Enjoy fresh veggies instead of meat and cheese on your bread or wraps! GREAT with a avocado spread. Make an easy avocado spread by mashing an avocado, and adding herbs of choice or an all purpose organic seasoning, and if desired, a pinch of veganaise or almondaise! YUM!

Sautéed Veggies over quinoa or rice:
Gently sauté veggies a few minutes (never over cook as you kill many nutrients) and serve over rice or quinoa! Heck, last night I was hungry and quickly sautéed a ton of veggies and ate them as is! I LOVE garlic so load up on the garlic when sautéing, and it's GREAT for your immune system!

Cold Quinoa Salad:

One of my favorite lunches is soooooo easy. I take a cup or so of quinoa, and top it with a ton of fresh vegetables! Avocados, tomatoes, zucchini, green onions, garlic, chives, fresh herbs, sea salt and raw olive oil! (you could warm the quinoa or rice and use organic butter if you want!)

No Lettuce Salad:
Chop all your vegetables and enjoy as a salad! Add nuts and seeds too!
Check out our recipes for salad dressings and dip on our literature page!
FRESH Organic Herbs in a TUBE! If you can imagine that! We have them and we have lots to choose from with more coming! Italian Seasoning, Cilantro, Ginger, Dill, Basil, and Garlic! An EASY way to add fresh spices without having them go bad in the fridge as they are good for almost 6 months!!!

Drop it off anytime outside our building, and we will be GLAD to put it to good use! And we WON"T plug it in! If you decide to keep it, you will enjoy our commercials for all the great uses for microwave ovens!!! (bet you can't wait to see what we come up with!!! and no, none of them have to do with food!)

Story Time: So this morning during our family briefing (we have many a day) I told the kids that it was going to rain today, and asked Julia (11) if she would take the younger girls for a walk in the graveyard and play outside before it rains....I though,.who else asks there kids to talk walks in a graveyard except people who live IN FRONT OF ONE!?? heck, pretty flowers and it is peaceful! We all love it there!
