Well it happened yesterday….we just could not hold him back! The cookie monster unfurled all his weight and we buckled…..we now we have more pounds of cookies than we could know what to do with! I sure can not tell you this actually works, because it has never been evaluated by the almighty FDA, BUT historically in our home and millions of others this oil has stopped illness IN IT’S TRACKS. Yup, at the onset of that pesky cold, cough or illness, a few drops under the tongue a couple times has done the trick for us. My opinion? glad you asked….EVERY home should have this mighty wonder! Vanilla to SIP

While on the subject of Herbal Symphony, last night Chris and Joy brought in the vanilla extract they have been “brewing” (no heat required, I just liked the word) and it BLEW THE OTHERS OFF THE SHELVES! I will keep the varieties up front so just ask to smell the difference, and heck, you can taste the difference if you want. We are letting it steep another month or so before we start selling it, but we could easily sell it today as the best vanilla I have ever tasted!

Salmon Patties

I was asked by a rather large outfit to make salmon patties for them to sell throughout the state. As we were making them, we felt very impressed to just sell them here at our store. We do not want to run faster than we are able, and we never want to compromise quality so…now we have YUMMY salmon patties you can just eat off the plate in our freezer! (cook first silly) We have made many as samples and have had HUGE reviews even from those who professed to not like salmon! Grab some for the holidays! We use fresh Keta Salmon caught in the pristine waters of ALASKA. NO farmed salmon here! Hand made all organic Blackout Burgers, Garden Burgers and now Salmon Patties all just $2.25 each in our freezer. YUM!

EXPO EXCITEMENT

The booths are filling up! We are excited for the April Holistic Health, Emergency Preparedness and Green Living Expo! The seminars will be terrific! I sure hope we can tape them all somehow. I don’t want to miss a single one! If you know of anyone interested in having a booth, have them contact us soon. This will be a show like NO OTHER.

Religious Discrimination?

Call it what you want, but I have been trying to work with three locals companies to sell their products at our store. For reasons just lately brought to light by a variety of sources, they will not sell to our store! Well, too bad for them! Our clients are the best! So, in light of the fact that nothing holds my faith down, we are going to make our own raw sauerkraut, coconut kefir and custards and kombuka drinks for you! Now, we have the licensed kitchen…BUT I have never made these items on a large scale! IF YOU or anyone you know can help us with recipes, suggestions or know how, please call us! These are all products we want to offer to you as you continue on the road to an alkaline rich– illness free body! We will make these items with all organic ingredients, and all raw when we can. When in New York I tasted a variety of sauerkraut from a local farmer there. There is nothing out here like it, so perhaps this is our time to explode with Raw Krauts for those living in WI!

This has caused me to reflect on some things. I studied religion in college, and enjoy learning of all faiths under the glorious sun. One thing I will hold as an absolute truth: BY THEIR FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM. Someone who follows a Savior or a God that is full of love - is full of love. And as a gardener I know one other absolute fact: A field that has more dung thrown on it produces a great crop! Gotta love the compost!
