Salmon Patties!
YUM! Fresh Salmon Patties in the Freezer! NOTE: one batch of salmon patties were neglected…..the garlic and another spices was left on the counter! I do not believe we sold more than one or two packag4es, but we have the others on discount right now for 1.75 each! They still are yummy…but missing the garlic! Ask if interested…….the patties in the freezer are the mighty fine patties! (A new favorite in our home….we must admit….)

Keep an eye for the many sales! We are cutting out some of our inventory…and bringing in SO MANY GREAT new items! JANUARY 14th CLASS!
Our class for next week is really fun! We discuss all about raw foodist’s, vegan and vegetarian diets. You will re-learn about proteins, diets, and taste some yummy reasons why vegetables are a main plate item in our home! I believe we will have Chad joining us. Now, if you attended our sprouting class last year you cannot forget Chad! He was GREAT to have join us, and just happens to be in WI right now so I believe we have him pegged to help teach our class…..bring the young women…he is a catch! (if he is not already caught…) (do you think he will get this?????)opps……

CATERING! LUNCH DELIVERY!
You may have heard rumors…..but they are now true! Our lunch delivery program will be starting within weeks. The menu is AWESOME and we are quite excited to be offering this program. We have had MANY requests, and heck…why not listen to what is wanted?! Your place of business can now have TASTY lunches delivered for your staff. We will be traveling to all local communities to deliver our laminated menus within the next few weeks. If you are interested in a menu for your place of business, please contact us!

We are also offering catering to the surrounding counties for larger scale events. We are looking to be part of the Summerfest activities, Zoo events, weddings, Expos, etc. Our first wedding show is coming up in January, and we are very excited! As a wedding coordinator now for over 450 weddings, I know the people, places and contacts. There are few caterers who can offer the diverse menu planning that we can. We can cater to all food allergies…even at the same event! We will be offering conventional as well as organic entrees, raw foods, and kosher options so people can plan within their budgets. We do have a few integrity points: NO canned vegetables, NO pork will be allowed in my kitchen, and NO dull flavors! Collard Greens in our Kitchen
I brought home collard greens the other day. Our youngest, Lilly and Rose, were helping with the green drinks. They took some of the collard greens and dipped them in green drink and ate them. Lilly proclaimed “they taste like Salal!” ( a favorite green herb in our garden)..Rose started a capture the collard greens game in our kitchen. We had the Hungry Vegetarians protecting the collard greens and the Angry Meat Eaters (they came up with the names) trying to steal them! Boy….what goes on in our kitchen…… I finally got them all safe and sound back into the fridge.

Politics, Health, Opinions…..
Our family is WELL informed in almost all areas of government, religion, conspiracy theories, health theories and health conspiracies BUT we keep our thoughts out of the work place, for the most part. Unless it is of major importance, I will leave all the exciting discussions to other great people out there who have informative websites and who send educational emails and newsletters on politics and the sort. You can count on us to be informed, but do not count on receiving our political stand on too many things. We do encourage you to fight for freedoms, stand up for the freedoms our ancestors believed in and came to America for, and protect Mother Nature. We believe in being very pro active in the government and in all areas of life. Our thoughts are formed from our knowledge. So are your thoughts. That is why our tag line for Nature’s Garden is Nutrition and Education for a Healthier Lifestyle! If you ask me, I believe I know exactly how to help a body heal and operate at full capacity. I wish I could share with the world how to heal and feel alive again! So all we can do is educate…with disclaimers of course! And that is what we intend to do here. Educate and live by example.

New Year Goals:
Number one: provide you, our client with what you want in our store! So….TELL US! If we discontinue a product you love, let us know. Number two: open up the catering division and let it soar. Number three: Provide local, high quality food items at affordable prices. This needs volume to keep flowing…so bring keep spreading the news! Number four: figure out the best schedule for ZuZu’s so we can offer a dining experience on a regular schedule for those in our area. Requests and thoughts encouraged! Number five: Treat our customers as we would our family - Trust them, be loyal, offer our best and keep the spirit of Christmas here all year. One wise man told us that to keep the spirit of Christmas all we needed to do is drop the final consonant…..keep the spirit of Christ! So that’s the plan!
