OILS! EXPO! VINEGARS!

FANTASTIC Balsamic Vinegars & Organic Olive Oils IN!
GODA oils and Vinegars are the BEST I have tasted! Their quaint storefront in Milwaukee is charming, but a few miles away so GUESS WHAT! We brought them to Washington County! Come in and sample their delicious 18 year balsamic vinegar and these terrific flavors: Raspberry, Strawberry, Pomegranate, Black Cherry, Coconut, Cinnamon Pear, and their oils fused with these flavors: Oregano, Basil, Mushroom and Sage, Italian Herb, and Orange. Enjoy tasting their main stay…..organic olive oil! Your salads, sautéed vegetables and steamed dishes will NEVER be the same again!

EXPO INFO
Ok, the ball is REALLY ROLLING! We have found the NEATEST naturopath doctors and professionals in the area. It has been amazing to speak with these diverse and knowledgeable people, who are VERY EXCITED to be part of the April 24th Holistic Health Expo! I wish I could take your time and write about each one….but that will come. PLEASE mark that date, you will not want to miss the opportunity of meeting all of these gifted people. Now, FEEDBACK TIME. Due to the lovely economical circumstances we are in, we made a few changes to the Expo. First, we lowered the booth charge by a considerable amount. We were able to do so because we are now using local professionals to do the speaking for the 40 seminars (we were going to fly in some great key note speakers, but maybe next year!) We also cut our some of the fluff we were offering with the booths. Now we need YOUR input. Please respond to the following questions: What would be a comfortable entrance fee for the expo (the entrance fee includes the seminars), and are you interested in attending a social dance that night. We are tossing around the idea of having a live band, organic wine and beer tasting (already lining up, Rita is determined to get wine in this store…), free dance instruction from Fred Astaire Dance Studio and then a fun dance! BUT we will not pursue this unless we have some feedback from those who wish to participate. The dance evening would need a cover charge as well. We were considering two ticket fees, one to cover the dance and the Expo, and then separate fees for both the dance and for the expo. Our thoughts are: $15.00 for both events, $6-8.00 for the expo and $10.00 for the dance. There are people who have compared our event to the ones in Chicago or Madison and wonder why we charge more than $5.00 for an entrance fee. WE HAVE NO SPONSORS other than our small mom and pop store! (mom & pop and many chitlins by the way…they need recognition too…) We are looking for sponsors, but this is our first show. We have someone working on sponsors next week. We desire you all to come and take part in an outstanding educational experience through this expo, and it takes money. BUT if the entrance fee is too high…people may not come so we need to know what your thoughts are….HONESTLY. Thanks!

BIG STORES

We receive many compliments from visitors and customers about our produce section. Organic produce has a shorter life span than conventional, and needs utmost care to preserve the integrity. Before we opened NGHC we hosted a neighborhood conventional produce co-op for many years. We can attest that what we do now is FAR MORE time consuming than working with conventional! We realize we are competing with the big stores. We keep our prices low, so YOU can afford to make organic produce part of your family meal planning. HOWEVER we are aware that sometimes it is a stretch. Because we have access to conventional produce as well as organic, we were wondering if when there are specials in the conventional world, we could bring some in for you? We would avoid the dirty dozen, and not bring items in we felt uncomfortable about. THOUGHTS? Check out the dirty dozen on the websitre under literature! www.naturesgardenspot.com
